The tubing shall have a suitable thermoplastic inner layer and a suitable thermoplastic outer layer. The inner and outer layers shall be compatible with the refrigerant and lubricant. The outer layer shall be resistant to ambient heat and contact with typical under hood fluids (i.e., fuels, engine oil, brake fluids, grease antifreeze, screen wash, etc.).
